On Wednesday April 25th, 2012 the Heartlungcenter of the Isala klinieken organized, in collaboration with Diagram, the seminar “De Novo”.
During this seminar the medical specialists of the Heartlungcenter presented a wide range of her innovative techniques. These innovations consist of the newest operation techniques by using the “Da Vince”- robot, the endoscopic laser ablation system – a unique method for the treatment of heartrhythmdisorders – and the possibilities of percutaneous echography for lung specialists nowadays.
The high turnout on the evening showed a great deal of interest. About 400 participants, such as specialists, nurses and other medical personnel of the North- and East region of theNetherlands attended the seminar at the Equipe Meeting Center in Zwolle. Besides plenary session, the participants were able to attend readings of a specialism of their choice like cardiology or lung diseases. The program was suspended for a walking dinner at the so called “sponsor – square”, where a few of the sponsors showed their products and techniques. After the second part, when the seminar was concluded, participants had a drink and a chat before they returned home.
The speakers, the organization, the sponsors and of course the great turn out confirms that the evening was a great success.
