In order to perform clinical research several laws and regulations need to be followed. The requirements for the research team and especially the investigator have been sharpened. Besides the expertise in the field, it is also mandatory to have knowledge about the current laws and regulations, like the Wet Medisch Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (WMO) and the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

In October/November 2017 and February 2018 Diagram B.V. organised GCP courses. Employees of the department SMO Nijmegen, SMO Zwolle and CRO Zwolle and others, who were interested, followed the course. In case of interest, please send an email to:

In order to be certified according to the current regulations one needs to pass the Examen Bureau Medisch Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (EMWO) GCP-WMO exam. The GCP course seems to be a good preparation for this exam.
